Meet Naomi Marrow

Naomi Nicole is a native of Colorado. Born and raised in the Colorado mountain towns of Rollinsville and Evergreen. Naomi Nicole is a self taught Tactile Creative Expressionist.
Born three months premature and weighing 1 pound at birth, Naomi acquired Retinopathy of Prematurity a progressive retinal disease that severely damages the retinas, which left her severely visually impaired/blind weeks after birth. Naomi has been creating Art since age 6.
She was first introduced to pottery over 28 years ago during her freshman year while in college in 1997, when a longtime friend introduced her to pottery. Naomi Also has a passion for Textile Arts ( Crochet, Macrame, Batik hand dyed fabric) as well as abstract Watercolor mixed media Art.
Vibrant colors, organic shapes, lines, patterns and tactile textural elements inform her unique whimsical creative style. Likewise, Naomi has a passion for Disability Advocacy and Art Therapy within the Art community.
She is a passionate Licensed Social Worker and Adaptive Art Educator throughout the state of Colorado. Furthermore, she’s tirelessly advocated for Artist’s with disabilities to be seen and heard within the Art community as well as facilitate Art workshops and classes for Adults with disabilities and seniors with memory loss/dementia.
Naomi has been showing and selling her Artwork throughout the Denver Metro area for the last twenty five years.
