Oil, Watercolor & Acrylic Artist

Mary was raised in a military family, was born in England, graduated High School in Germany, and lived in Kansas and California in between. Mary still has the travel bug and loves to combine travel and plein air painting.

Mary has a Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of Northern Colorado with an emphasis in Drawing and Art History. After retiring from Law Enforcement, and then Higher Education, she rediscovered her creative side and started painting again. Mary is a life-long learner who enjoys painting a myriad of subjects, including landscapes, portraits, animals, and flowers. Mary has recently become a studio artist at Main Street Creatives

Mary paints primarily in oil, but also in watercolor and acrylic. Recently, she has gone back to her original love of drawing by working in colored pencil and is also experimenting in poured acrylic painting. Mary also makes affordable and unique jewelry and has had the honor of serving as a judge for the Fort Lupton and Brighton area School Districts.

Mary is also an active member of the Paletteers Art Club of Westminster and manages their website.
