Pastel Pencil & Ink Artist

After a 30-year career in corporate America and 10 years as an adjunct communications professor, Lindy embraced her lifelong passion for the arts and shifted her focus to creative work full-time. In 2023, she illustrated her first children’s book—an experience that reignited her love for visual narrative and artistic expression.

That same year, she joined Main Street Gallery in Brighton, Colorado, as a studio artist. In addition to creating her own artwork, Lindy serves as one of the gallery’s classroom coordinators, recruiting and supporting local instructors to grow a creative and inclusive learning environment. She also creates marketing materials for the gallery and serves as the admin for the Main Street Creatives group Facebook page.

Deeply committed to arts advocacy, Lindy currently volunteers as Marketing Director for Brighton Cultural Arts Connection, a nonprofit focused on bringing people together through the arts. Her marketing and outreach efforts earned her the 2024 Outstanding Volunteer in the Cultural Arts award from the Brighton Excellence in Arts Committee.

Whether she’s painting pet portraits in pastel or crafting creative campaigns to promote the arts, Lindy is passionate about fostering joy, imagination, and belonging. She believes that art should be an accessible, collaborative, and healing experience. See more of Lindy’s work at lindylouarts.com.
