M.J. is a Brighton area artist who along with her husband, Dallas lives in Thornton, Co. She had always wanted to take up watercolor painting. M.J. began taking watercolor classes that started in 2012 as well as classes in Littleton, Co. and in the Brighton area. She finds great Joy in painting watercolor, as well as dabbling in mixed media and pastel.

M.J. has participated in the EYE for ART programs at City Hall, The Armory, and Art Shows in the Brighton area as well as other local shows. Her work can be seen at the Main Street Gallery in Brighton where she also has studio space. She paints everything from animals, flowers, still life , landscapes and beyond in an eclectic style.
