Kathy Hansen

Kathy Hansen is an artist living in the Commerce  City, Colorado area.  With no formal art training she has become quite successful working in acrylics.  Her style is realism and she enjoys wildlife, landscapes, and the occasional whimsy.   Kathy is a member of the Paletteers Art Club and has held many positions with them including membership coordinator and director of hanging venues.  She has been co-director of the Art exhibit at the Adams County Fair for the past 12 years.   Long before she started painting.   She is also a member of the Main Street Creatives group, a gallery in Brighton, Colorado. 

Kathy has won awards and sold paintings in the greater Denver area and continues improve her skills by taking workshops and working with other artists.   Her work can be seen at her studio at the Main Street Gallery in Brighton, Colorado.
